Catering/Events Assistant Manager

Dining Services at The Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton New Jersey is hiring a Catering/Events Assistant Manager.

As a Catering/Events Assistant Manager, you are key to the success of our catering business. You help customers plan and select food of exceptional quality for their events, you support their questions and needs, and you make sure their food is delivered when and how they need it. You work mainly in an extraordinary new building created by renowned architect Steven Holl.

We are looking for a positive and confident candidate who enjoys interacting with our patrons who love food of exceptional quality. We make all our food from fresh products. We source all our vegetables from local farmers. Fish and seafood are from local fishing boats. You work with an extensive list of fine wines and make recommendations.

We are a fast-paced, high-volume Conference center and Dining Facility that offers high-quality, fresh, varied, multi- ethnic cuisine. From classic French to Italian, Spanish Indian, Mexican, Thai, all are frequent on our ever-changing daily menu.

We nurture a staff of hospitality professionals who will treat our guests, and each other, like family. 

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time 

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
