The Institute for Advanced Study is dedicated to the pursuit of fundamental knowledge. In the more than eighty years since its founding, the work of the Institute’s Faculty and Members has had permanent impact, in both intellectual and practical terms in the broad range of fields in the sciences and humanities.
We are seeking a talented Program Manager to have responsibility for providing day-to-day and overall administrative and operational management for the programs of the School of Mathematics. Reporting to the School Administrative Officer, The Program Manager has a wide range of responsibilities, including collaborating with the co-Program Manager, School Faculty, Park City Math Institute Director, Women and Mathematics Academic Program Manager, Principal Investigators, Distinguished Visiting Professors, and other organizers to manage, plan, and administer the School’s programs; participant support; grants administration and fundraising in partnership with the IAS Development team; and marketing and recruitment. All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by the School Administrative Officer.
This position will be based at the Institute for Advanced Study campus in Princeton, NJ. This position will also attend the entire 3-week PCMI program in Utah or other future location.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master’s degree preferred, and a minimum of seven years of relevant experience required. Previous experience with database management software and Microsoft Office programs required, as well as experience managing, coaching, building, and working productively with teams required
